Oil & Water

They have oil, and we have water.

They, by an evil kind of reverse serendipity of the fates or the furies, or perhaps by way of a cosmic joke in the inscrutable wisdom of God, are awash in our money. They, the almost uniformly totalitarian and collectivist/fascist principalities of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, control most of the world's supply of crude oil. They, from Russia to Saudi Arabia, to Venezuela and the rest of the rump failed states, have nothing else of value to contribute.

They sit atop a spigot of incalculable wealth. It is a wealth in production they did not discover, nor develop, or finance, or create a use, a market, a technology or an infrastructure for. The British, the Dutch and the Americans did all that for them.

We however, are blessed with the water of the greatest achievement in human history, modern Western Civilization. Our construct is liberty, equality, the rule of law, freedom of speech and thought and association, the emancipation of women, the protection of minorities, of the infirm and the weak. All of it, with it's imperfections and the not fully achieved, from a corrupt Congress (including Republicans) to the Kennedys, the Pelosis and the Patrick Fitzgeralds of the world, is watered and thrives by the life affirming properties of Capitalism, and the Judeo-Christian ethic.

Even though our delicately refined elites don't seem to know it, water and oil don't mix. The two can be stirred by the UN and the EU, shaken with sanctions and not too harshly worded diplomacy, heated with arms-behind-your-back rules of engagement in war, or spun in the centrifuge of a lying and traitorous mainstream media and their relativist apologists. The result is always the same. A suspension, not a solution. Never a solution.

Try to mix oil and water, and the oil merely floats on the water, supported by it. Whether it is the crude barbarity of all of the Caliphate, or the refined neo chic of Russia and Venezuela, the oil thugs of the world can't exist without us, or more pointedly, our cars. Absent our petro dollars, the Arabs would be roaming the deserts in their never ending shame, mutilating their women, and torturing their children. Russia would be a collapsed state, with a educated and cultured population, but still not able to build a civil society. Venezuela, God help her long suffering people, would be just another South American irrelevancy. It seems simplistic, but there would be no problem if gasoline was 29 cents a gallon, or better yet, an outdated technology, like the steam engine.

Unfortunately, in addition to fueling the wrath of the Jihadeem, our wealth and our freedom has corrupted our society. Not in the sense of the mock outrage the Muslims blather about - go to any European city and observe the gang rob and rape culture of poor Muslims, or the drinking and whoring ways of the rich ones. Rather, our wealth has let us become a society of Axel's, too pampered, and too idle to stand like real men and women and defend what we have. Were it not for the statistical minority of brave young people that serve in the battle formations of the Anglo Sphere, the end would be already foretold.

For all the traffic in surges, counter-insurgencies, containment, generational warfare and blueprints for peace, there is only one way out of this if we don't want to condemn our grandchildren to being the guardians of a new Khazaria or Vienna. We, as a civilization must discredit and destroy where necessary the homicidal impulses of a sickened Islam. We must and we should embrace the moderate Muslim who wants to practice his religion as a matter between he and his God. They are to be welcomed in our society, and protected. The others, those that are here but preach about, wish for and abet our demise, should be excised like the poison they are.

Many are afraid, fearing that we face an implacable foe. Ask your grandfather what he thinks of the average soldier of Mo in comparison to the war machines of Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan. We pulverized them militarily, and thoroughly discredited the twin evils of National Socialism and Shinto/Bushido. First, last and only, our survival is predicated on clearly establishing just who is afraid of who.

On the other hand, the Ford Motor Company recently announced that they have the means and the ability to begin production of hydrogen powered cars. We do have a rather large reservoir of that fuel waiting to be discovered and developed. It is called the Ocean.
